Well it seems like a lot of other people do have problems, at PCGamer they ran it on a 560Ti and and couldnt get it decently playable. I understand it runs on the same engine as rage, which also had massive problems. So future drivers will probably fix it, i am still pretty pissed though =p Maybe someone here knew a solution since some people seem to claim have fixed it.
It's true that the 560 TI isn't ideal for Wolfenstein, especially since it's an older chip for a much newer title.
It doesn't seem to be an issue if the game runs well. Most average PC gamers likely have a processor more capable than a 560ti.
These kinds of guesses don't really make a difference. By looking at actual data like the STEAM Hardware Survey, the most popular dedicated GPU is the GTX 660. The next best is the GTX 760. When you compare models side by side, the 660 offers roughly 20% more power than the 560 Ti. If you boost it to a non-reference version, its improvement jumps to nearly 30%.
I'm currently running Wolfenstein on my AMD setup, and everything is working smoothly with catalyst 14.6. Trying 14.6 might be worth considering for you too. You're correct about using a dedicated card. I went through all the options and it looks like at least 44% of players have graphics that fall short of a 560ti, which could mean they're onboard or using weaker hardware. The real number might be higher or lower depending on the category classification. Still, the 560ti remains a versatile card capable of handling most games, and developers this year are aiming for smooth performance on it.
You continue to draw incorrect conclusions. With the arrival of the gen 8 consoles, there has been a significant change in what is deemed acceptable in terms of system requirements. The era of accommodating outdated and fragile hardware is over—at least until we reach a point where console components become obsolete again. You might still be able to run certain games on older systems, but don’t expect smooth performance or even close to it.
It seems you're experiencing around 35 FPS in the dam area, with noticeable spikes when looking in certain directions. Some scenes perform well, but overall performance is inconsistent, especially for PPF and shadow details. On the coast, you occasionally hit 45 FPS, though it's still a bit concerning.
