WMP shuts down while playing a video.
I experience this problem occasionally over the years. When I click on a video to play in WMP (Windows 11), it displays for a brief moment before going black. The audio remains audible, but no video appears. I have to pause and restart playback, then resume, and it works until I attempt to play another video, which restarts the issue. I’ve reinstalled WMP several times, updated my codecs, and thoroughly researched the matter, but still haven’t found a clear solution. If anyone has suggestions, I’m open to hearing them. Thanks a lot.
🤔 The origin of the video file is unclear.
Also, consider using the second video player, such as VLC Player.

I have relied on VLC Player since Windows XP times, and it has always worked well.
