Check the picture provided. The laptop you mentioned uses an AzureWave AW-NB114H, which is on the left. Upgrading it would require a compatible form factor. Many modern WLAN laptop cards are found on the right side. However, because the screw holes are positioned differently, they might not be interchangeable. What’s the proper name for the right-hand form factor?

Here are some alternatives: the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 (2013) comes in three versions—7260HMW, 7260NGW, and 7260SDW. I can eliminate the third option. For the top two, if you require an HMC card, the latest Intel model mentioned is the 7260SDW.
