He can likely adapt the screws from the Intel back plate to fit the AM4 cooler without damaging the system. Just make sure the mounting points match and secure everything properly.

It seems there might not be sufficient pressure or there could be risks to the motherboards. There’s a slim possibility it might function, but I wouldn’t suggest it. It’s not safe and could harm components.

The backplate aims to spread pressure evenly, while CPU coolers are built to exert strong pressure on the CPU for secure attachment. Using four screws with nuts on the opposite side can create excessive force at just a few points rather than distributing it across the entire CPU socket.

Shift the PC sideways and place the cooler directly on the Spoiler. No mounting required—just rely on gravity, which should keep things stable until the proper case is installed.
