It wasn't an SLI problem; I saw the flickering at first and noticed new nVidia drivers that day. Updating drivers turned off SLI, which caused the issue. I didn’t turn it back on after the update, and the flickering persisted. EDIT: Based on my single case, it doesn’t seem to be an SLI issue, though the data isn’t strong.

It might be related to a panel problem, but if it only occurs in The Witcher 3 I don't think it's possible. I'm not a specialist, just say it doesn't happen on my end.

The "Gsync Flicker" occurs when a display isn't updated properly while an image remains static. It often shows up during loading phases. Reports suggest it stems from the Skybox handling being similar to a compressed GIF, skipping areas without new data and retaining previous frames. This explanation isn't from an official expert.

Disable the blur effect, it appears to function for you.

I'm not alone in facing this problem. Others have reported the same. Have you found a solution? From what I see online, it seems to affect SLI, G-Sync and high refresh rate setups. It's not a permanent fix, but disabling G-sync and reducing monitor refresh rate helped me. Everything on ultra 1440p SLI 780s Acer Xb270HU at 144Hz Gsync worked.

It seems like a minor stutter might be due to slippage, possibly worsened by G sync.
