I am searching for a wireless mouse suitable for use on a couch. I want it to move freely on cushions, not just on a pad. Would the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro be appropriate or would another model be more suitable?

What are you doing on the pc? For instance, when gaming you require a flat surface for precision and quick actions. If you're just browsing or don't need high accuracy and speed, I'd consider a trackball mouse—it might take some time to get used to, but it would be superior to a mouse on an uneven floor. In the end, traditional mice are built for flat, smooth surfaces; using them elsewhere will be a trade-off and may lead to some unexpected results.

Almost certainly, a "mouse on the couch" will accumulate dust and debris from fibers and other materials, which can clog buttons and scroll wheels. Don't forget falling between cushions, spills, drinks, food, or even pet interactions that might cause trouble. Consider the mouse as a TV remote—what happens to those when they get dirty?
