Are there routers that work wirelessly and link directly to the modem via Wi-Fi without needing physical connections?

I don't have any examples. If you share the issue, I might help you find a solution.

If your modem is a combined modem/router, you can purchase another router that works in bridge mode. It will connect wirelessly to the modem, but you’ll need to link via Ethernet because it can’t broadcast a wireless signal when in bridge mode.

The issue is that my computer lacks Wi-Fi, making the modem impractical to use. It’s not uncommon for people to prefer wired connections when wireless isn’t available.

You can use a router and a booster, but you won’t be able to send unrouted data over Wi-Fi—those tasks belong to the router.

Do you have connected wiring in every room of your home, using either Cat 5 or Cat 5e cables?
