I think my headline works fine. I use a Huawei E5770 mobile router for my desktop internet—it's affordable. When connected wired, it sometimes disconnects unexpectedly for about 20 seconds, and the RJ45 indicator on the motherboard turns off. It varies; sometimes it works for longer periods, but right now it's quite troublesome. With Wi-Fi it didn’t show any interruptions. I like having it wired even when there are issues. I’m up to date, and I’ve tried changing drivers without success. I used the Intel PROSet Adapter Config Utility, but it doesn’t seem to identify any problems. (Huawei communicates at a maximum of 150Mb/s, while my Asus motherboard supports 1Gb/s.) Any suggestions? Edit: Perhaps I found something—I just set the Ethernet connection mode to "Lan Only" as recommended in the manual.
