Wine-Staging or Wine-Stable?
Wine-Staging or Wine-Stable?
Wine Staging is typically suggested because it holds many patches that aren’t included in Wine Stable, even after years of staging. Still, it’s seen as an unstable experimental version. Compatibility issues are more common with updates. In contrast, Wine Stable contains no such patches and remains relatively stable. If it functions now, it should likely work in six months. You’ll need to weigh compatibility against system integration or stability.
