Windows XP issues... yeah, I get it.
In short, I set up Windows XP on an old machine I discovered for use as a NAS. It only had an IDE port for an old hard drive, so I upgraded it with a PCI SATA card to add an SSD. The installation went smoothly and everything rebooted properly. However, when it first booted, I saw a strange screen. I checked the monitor settings, but they weren’t the issue. The boot menu appeared distorted—showing a heavily zoomed-in login screen with pixelated text. Could be a display problem or a corrupted boot image. Let me know if you need help troubleshooting further.
