I updated the cable setup due to poor airflow. The PC won't start into Windows Boot device. Error log shows: Log file:C\Recovery\WindowsRE\Winre.wim\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt

Assume the SATA data and power connections are correctly set up on both sides. Have you switched the SATA port the drive uses?

I confirmed it, and I switched the port. I can't recall which one from the six I used.

This happened literally just for me, and I finally resolved it by getting a DVD with Windows installed and wiping everything.

Same here too, but I had to rely on a USB drive since I don’t have a DVD tray. Ugh, I lost all my MC progress.
