Model details: 7700k OC, 5ghz, 32GB DDR4, Asrock z270, 1080 Ti. Issue: BSOD on Windows startup, Linux under stress test (currently 84°C at full load for 10 minutes) without crashing. Will boot normally into Windows without overclocking. Need advice?

Windows can start without the OC. Did you check if the installation is intact?

Windows launches properly without the OC, and everything works as expected. The 5GHz processor has remained stable for more than two months. I’ll share the photo here. After a restart to update the latest Realtek audio drivers, I encountered lock-up issues with those drivers. It seems the realtek drivers were the root cause. Now the system operates smoothly in Windows without OC. Possibly the BIOS settings—like speedstep—were involved. Stress testing is still active. I fixed an airflow blockage and the CPU is now running at a stable 78°C.
