We have an old CompuServe desktop that I just replaced the motherboard because some of the cases exploded. When I connect via Ethernet, it says I can’t access the page because the owner of www.yahoo.com doesn’t have the required certificate. I’m unable to find a solution and don’t know what to do. I’ve tried enabling and disabling firewalls, checked the firewall rules, looked at network settings, but nothing seems clear.
The time and date shown on the computer could lead to certificate issues. Additionally, if the operating system isn't receiving security updates, it may miss updates about security certificates, especially with browsers like Internet Explorer or older versions that don't support Vista.
It turns out she can't operate the internet anymore unless we make adjustments. I don't feel confident she'll stay consistent.
