I've been working on upgrading to Windows 11 for a few weeks now. Initially, I faced the warning "We can't tell if your PC has enough space to continue installing Windows 11." I attempted to resolve it by rebuilding the BCD, but after running the bootrec /rebuildbcd command, it prompted: "Total identified Windows installations: 1 [1] K:\Windows Add installation to boot list? Yes[Y]/No[N]/All[A]:" and I selected Y. The process ended with an error, but later the message disappeared and the install proceeded. Once it reached 100%, it restarted and then showed me a Windows 10 error (code: 0xC1900101 - 0x20017) with the note "Installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase due to AV." I checked the setuperr.log file and noticed a registry issue linked to my antivirus. After removing it, the same error reappeared but without any AV-related warnings. Thanks for reading. Check forum support images and file uploads. Refer to Microsoft’s guidance: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...ff78b3158a. It notes some drivers may not work with the Windows upgrade. Ensure all devices have the newest drivers—audio, keyboard, mouse, chipset, SATA controller, printer, GPU, etc. Software often relies on drivers. DRM software, anti-cheat systems, and security programs might need special drivers. Verify your system is fully updated before upgrading.

You've confirmed your drivers are current with the Intel Driver & Support Assistant. Considering the software varies in its driver requirements, a clean boot might help resolve the problem. Removing your discrete GPU and switching to the integrated one could also be worth trying. Let me know if you need further guidance. setuperr.log
