Hello everyone, from the screenshot you shared, it’s clear that the Windows updates have reached 100% of the download progress, but the update service continues to fetch more data. Can anyone clarify why this is occurring and suggest a method to estimate the remaining time until completion? I understand your internet speed is slow, and you mentioned you expect a faster connection next month.

Updates are sent to your devices both within and beyond your network automatically. P2P functionality is turned on by default. You handle the downloads and uploads yourself. The settings can be accessed via Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advanced > Delivery Optimization. This setting affects not just Windows updates but also the installation and updates of apps, games, and other software.

I turned that off already, but your advice was helpful! The service is connected via the network at a steady rate of 2MBit/s, which means it’s downloading because that’s my fastest download speed. But I’m curious—what exactly is being downloaded once all updates are complete? That’s what I’m trying to figure out.

I don't understand German. You'll have to translate it for me. But I think the issue is with the store updating your apps.

Sounds reasonable. It’s odd to notice that number steadily rising toward 100% and keep going even after it hits it.
