Hey everyone, I'm facing the same issue when upgrading from Windows 10 version 1903 to 1909. The error code 0x80073701 pops up during the update. No one on Google seems to have a solution, so any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I don't have a memory of installing Windows, but I can guide you through the process if you'd like! Let me know how you'd like to proceed.

I experienced a problem where updates would begin but then stop after 7% each time the system restarts. To resolve this, I downloaded the installer from Microsoft and used its updater tool to fix the issue.

I attempted the same action previously. I downloaded the ISO for version 1909 and tried to upgrade. At 100%, a pop-up appeared stating the update failed. (Sorry, my English—I’m Italian!)

I understand it's frustrating, but you might need to perform a complete reinstall (unless you were already attempting that). Your previous Windows key should still be valid, just remember to note it down. Also, create backups of any crucial files—installing Windows 10 will wipe everything on your system drive.

I believe I should purchase a new SSD for this event—it's Christmas time!
