Hello! I'm using Windows 10 version 1909 and attempted to update it through standard methods like the troubleshooter, Windows Update, and service restarts. Still nothing happened. Are there any other solutions you could suggest besides a reset? Thank you!

I am using Windows 10, version 1909.
We are currently at 22H2, you may want to rebuild your bootable USB installer with Windows Media Creation Tools and then move forward with reinstalling the OS after backing up all essential data onto a portable drive.
Another step before reinstall is to confirm you have the most recent BIOS version.

You can check if there are any options to upgrade without reinstalling.

That error is a rather generic error.
Try the fixes
here
and if that doesnt work then you're looking at a total wipe and reinstall using the most current image available from Microsoft.
