Why is it happening now? We keep facing the same issue every month—install updates fail, and we’re stuck in an endless loop. It’s frustrating!

previous attempts usually needed weeks, and I'm sure a new setup was required to overcome it

It seems you may have made an error, such as altering the registry, duplicating a drive, or upgrading Windows.

I'm facing the same problem again. The last update didn't fix it, so I'll need to do a clean install.

You successfully ran the 1709 ISO installer for an in-place upgrade, and it functioned well without needing a full reload on my system.

It was released without cost. The last manual update didn’t help. I won’t reinstall now—I only checked everything about two months back.
