Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well. I just got the latest version of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and noticed my internet stops working right when I start flying. The only solution is to close the game. This problem seems unique to this game within Windows 11, not occurring elsewhere. Below is a summary of the troubleshooting steps I've tried so far, along with my system details. - Restarted the PC - Reinstalled the game - Updated BIOS - Added Wi-Fi drivers - Cleared DNS entries - Changed between private and public internet settings - Reinstalled the physical WiFi antennas on the motherboard - Used my phone's hotspot - Updated Windows - Disabled XMP Here are my specifications: i7-12700KF CPU MSI B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI D4 16GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 3200MHZ OC RTX 2070 8GB CRUCIAL P3 NVMe 1TB SSD. It's likely not an ISP issue, as I've experienced this before and never had it happen before. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You should focus on system and application logs, checking for errors or unusual activity that might not appear in the event viewer.

The issue might affect only that specific device or could involve the entire residence.

Event Viewer > Windows Logs > System. Check for alerts or warnings related to networking or Wi-Fi near the incident time.

It’s only my setup; the rest remain linked to my Smart TV and iPhone.

Reviewed the event viewer and noticed many red errors about the Wi-Fi antenna name failing during game load. Also saw messages indicating “Netwtw14 can’t be found” and “Network adapter isn’t working.” All these issues appeared when the game started, matching the problem described in my original post. Attached picture for reference.

You're currently using a mix of antivirus, antimalware, and firewall solutions. There seems to be interference from security software that might be slowing your internet speed while Flight Sim attempts to reach certain addresses rapidly. It could also be related to a blacklisted Microsoft server. Consider checking your security tools or consulting their documentation for potential conflicts. Good luck!
