Windows slow loading.
Windows slow loading.
I just purchased this package and upgraded my computer.
I installed everything and observed that Windows is loading more slowly now compared to before. Previously, it would take only seconds for Windows to start. Now it takes about 30 seconds to a minute. I understand it’s not the worst thing, but I’m curious how much faster it used to be. Do you have any suggestions? I’d really appreciate your help.
Additionally, my SSD is a Samsung 860 Evo.
I was also considering this bundle instead:

But I’ve been using AMD for over ten years and wasn’t sure which option to choose.
Thank you!
I put everything in place and observed that windows is loading more slowly now compared to before the upgrade. That means you probably changed the system's operating system drive, right? If that's the case, you'll need to reinstall the OS after the platform migration. What is the BIOS version of your current or new motherboard at this time?
Did you reinstall Windows? When replacing a motherboard, it's common to reinstall the operating system. Do you have the most recent BIOS update for your motherboard? Are there driver updates available on the support page for the new motherboard? Which applications appear in the startup section of Task Manager? Is fast boot turned on? What were the system specifications prior to the upgrade?
When Expo is activated you experience longer loading times because of the memory training during startup. Turning it off improves performance, though it slows down the initial boot. With Expo disabled, loading is faster but the system doesn't use Expo at all. Note: I recently purchased this bundle myself. My friend also bought the same package. Make sure to update your BIOS. Also, my computer wouldn't even start with Expo on, so I had to adjust every RAM setting manually. My friends didn't have that problem... odd.
It’s generally straightforward. BIOS updates can be sensitive, so ensure a stable power supply to the PC during the update and confirm it doesn’t shut down. In the link I shared, locate the latest BIOS version at the top. Change the file name according to the instructions on the download page. Place the renamed file on an empty flash drive. Insert the drive into the PC’s front panel. Restart and enter BIOS, locating the update tool—possibly named Ez Flash. Launch it and choose the USB device you connected to start the process. The updater will complete automatically. Never allow the PC to power off during this procedure. Once finished, ensure the PC is powered down and CMOS cleared. Let me know if you need further assistance.
I will include the note about the PC restarting twice during the initial and subsequent phases of the process. Please wait until it is completely done!
