Shut down the computer. Ensure the USB drive remains connected. Activate the power button and continuously press F12 (using the keyboard) repeatedly. Keep pressing until you reach the boot menu. If you manage to access the BIOS even after pressing F12, proceed to advanced settings and look for a boot override option to boot directly from the USB drive.
Hitting F12 still just brings me to the screen posted above. Clicking on the "Advanced Mode" tab brings me to a screen with a lot of options. In the "Boot" tab, There is Boot Option 1 and the usb is listed. Nothing else. I don't see anything called "boot override".
What do you mean by "to boot directly with the USB drive"? Isn't that what it's supposed to do when I power on, since it's the only thing in the boot priority list? Are you saying there's a way to force it to boot from the usb from the bios or boot menu?
Here are pictures of the Boot tab screen and the Tweaker tab screen? Does anything jump out? What other pics can I provide?
Edit: When I click "Save and Exit", it shows a line called "Boot Override" with the USB listed under it as the only thing listed. Double clicking it just turns the screen black for a second.
Edit again: I don't know what will be relevant or help diagnose the issue, which is why I'm giving as much as I can think of. From the bios main screen, under Boot Sequence, is just the USB. When I click it, it brings me to a page called "Boot Sequence", with just the USB listed. If I click on the USB, a barely visible gray message appears in the middle of the screen that says "No Bootable Device Found".

Also, now have MB error code d9 "Can't load boot option"
I can verify the USB stick on another Windows machine and confirm whether it displays as Windows-Installation Medium.

Attached is what's on the usb, as well as what's in the boot folder on the usb. However, when I inserted the usb in my laptop, it immediately showed "There's a problem with this drive. Scan the drive now and fix it." I attempted the scan/fix but it never finished. It just stalled out at some point and wouldn't progress. I couldn't even cancel or X out. I ended up just removing it and it said "unable to repair...try again...". I tried twice. I'll just get a new usb and try again.

It seems the file might have been accidentally omitted. You might attempt to delete it and then recreate it. Alternatively, you could utilize Diskpart for formatting a corrupt USB or SD card on Windows. Once formatted, it should function normally again. windospc.com
