Hi Everyone, I'm facing a tricky issue. My server runs Windows 10 and I need to share folders over the network or via Thunderbolt. I'm planning to upgrade to Windows Server 2016 for better features, but I'm stuck because Gigabyte drives don't install properly. The error says "Installation is not supported for this Windows release." Anyone have ideas on how to bypass that and get the drives working? I tried disabling driver signature checks, but it didn’t help. Thanks for any advice!

Check the support page for the GC-ALPINE-RIDGE rev 10 on Gigabyte's website.

drivers are delivered as an executable requiring payload extraction to a temporary spot before setup. On Windows 10, they can be found manually in recently cleared cache areas like the user temp folder. Certain drivers include a quiet toggle enabling extraction just for installation, sometimes bypassing OS version checks.
