I have Apollo in the basement, searching for meaning in life. I thought about installing NAS4Free, though I’m unsure how to set it up—whether as a network drive or with a web interface. I also looked into Windows Server 2003, thinking it might be lightweight and compatible with the hardware I have. But will it still work well after the end of its support period for HFS? A web interface is really important so everyone in the house can access it.

things from 2003 aren't great unless they're cheese or wine, particularly not for women (or girls in this case).

Have you genuinely explored options since 2003?

This applies to everyone in the house, and it’s outdated equipment that isn’t very quick.
