Last week I encountered a BSOD linked to Valorants Anti-Cheat "Vanguard." It's rumored to be unstable, so I accepted the situation, reset my PC but retained files, then re-downloaded everything. Everything appeared normal until I tried Discord and online gaming. My ping fluctuated unexpectedly despite strong internet speeds. Interestingly, I can stream 1080p YouTube videos flawlessly and browse normally without problems. This suggests a possible driver issue rather than a general connectivity problem. I've checked the device manager for updates, Windows updates, and graphics drivers—all seem up to date. I even reset the modem and router, but nothing changed. I'm seeking advice from others who might understand what's going on. My ping test and speed test results are still pending.
It's understood if you realized it was faulty, so why did you rely on it? Just a thought.
Check if the connection uses WiFi or Ethernet. If it's WiFi, see if the issues persist when switching to a wired setup. Reset your network adapter and, if needed, reinstall the drivers.
