I'm running a dual-boot system with both Windows 7 and Windows 10. During startup, I frequently encounter the 0xc000000e device missing error, and when I press Enter again it reports issues with winload.exe or errors. In BIOS, saving and quitting resolves the problem but the issue reappears on subsequent boots. Both OSes are installed on different drives.

Two operating systems seem necessary because the boot manager isn't managing the switch correctly.

I previously installed Windows 10 on two hard drives and now aim to fix it by restarting from the installation disk and selecting the repair option.

You need to adjust your boot manager settings since it doesn't support Windows 7. Check compatibility options or use a different system if possible.

Do you have the Windows 10 installation disk available, whether on a USB stick or DVD? If yes, start it and select the repair option in the lower left corner.

I'll start by fixing the OS and check if the error disappears. Also, I need to confirm whether this boot problem occurs consistently each time you power on, no matter which OS was active before, or if it mainly happens during OS transitions.

It happens exclusively when using the Windows 10 partition.

The startup fix using a Win10 disc didn't work and actually slowed down Windows 10.

I would save all your files, prepare the Windows 10 storage, and then install Windows again on that drive.
