Windows RDP - Connect remote users on Windows 10
Up to now I still used a Windows Server 2008 with around ten remote logins. From Task Manager I could access users and remotely control them. Now I need another machine to serve as a terminal for those accounts, reducing the workload. I handed my IT specialist a Windows 10 PC to handle this task, as requested. After four hours of setup and configuration, he mentioned there’s no remote control feature in Windows 10, though installing Windows 7 might be an alternative. - Does "Remote Control" appear in Windows 10 for RDP sessions? - Seems not. On Windows 7 it does exist, but reformatting would be the only choice. I’m not keen on spending another four hours on configuration. I noticed this option in Technet, but it’s only listed for Windows Server there.

Use Remote Desktop Connection to access a machine from another location, though you cannot run more than one user at a time on a non-Server Windows environment. For several users to connect, the system must be a Windows Server; attempting it on a regular Windows will lock out any existing active sessions.
