Occasionally Windows decides to add tiny icons to program or folder icons, which feels random and bothersome. I've reinstalled my GPU drivers and even performed a full system cleanup, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My device performed that action multiple times after a long period without a reboot. (I also tend to keep everything saved on the desktop, making it easy to see everything.) Restarting resolved the issue, though that's a simple solution. If the problem continues, set up a new local user account and move your files there. Occasionally, corrupted Windows profiles cause strange behavior. (In some cases, just updating that might be enough, not a complete wipe.)

I have additional items on my desktop, mainly folders and programs on the right monitor. The left monitor works perfectly. The user profile issue seems fixed with a clean install, though I'm trying your suggestion. Thanks.
