Windows no longer starts on your PC.
Your PC began behaving strangely after a BSDOS installation. It won't start Windows on its own, the boot drive isn't showing correctly in BIOS, and it appears in the boot menu instead of the boot priority list. This issue needs attention. IMG_5423.MOV
Connect a USB with Linux installed and check if it boots from it.
Checked the error code on the blue screen and looked it up online. It seems your hard drive might be failing. Have you tried swapping the SATA cable or connecting it to a different port on the motherboard? If that doesn’t help, clearing the CMOS could resolve the issue.
It starts up properly on Windows when I select the correct drive, but it’s frustrating to have to do this manually each time. The boot process occasionally crashes with KERNEL DATA INPAGE ERROR or CRITICAL PROCESS DIED. After a clean install and wiping everything, nothing worked until now. My best guess is my old HDD is failing—it’s a 1TB blue WD that’s five years old, so it might be time to replace it with a faster SSD.
