The same notification appears each time you remove your phone from the wireless charging station. It looks like a related problem.

yeah, but the problem is this message keeps repeating constantly until i unplug the controller... even when i disable/remove the device... and it also stops working entirely! which is funny because it works perfectly fine as long this message doesn't pop up. BUT the thing is i know for sure there's an easy solution, like remove, then reinstall the driver, but it needs to be done in specific steps, and for the life of me i cant get it to work now.

It's also amusing, indeed. This seems to occur when the controller shuts down automatically... so yes. The issue is I need a solution! The controller is entirely nonfunctional right now, I tried restarting the PC, but it didn't help... an error appears as soon as I connect the controller.

This indicates the system lacks the necessary information to identify the device, preventing proper driver selection. Possible causes include a damaged cable or a malfunctioning device. The controller's USB port might have poor contact or a failed solder connection.

it appears the issue occurs unpredictably when the controller shuts down automatically. yesterday it worked fine, but recently it started happening often even after long periods without use. i’ve tried fixing it multiple times, but the instructions feel confusing and hard to recall accurately. now the controller’s red flashing light is also on, which makes things worse. i suspect it might not be a hardware problem, just a fixable issue—just need to reset the controller or follow specific steps. i’ve checked for updated drivers and even installed them, but the error still returns after restart. it’s frustrating because this seems to happen whenever i don’t use the device for a while. i feel a bit responsible, but honestly it’s not my fault either—it’s just really tricky.

just a minor fix, I was able to link the DS4 via Bluetooth, but once I connect it through USB on my PC it fails. It works with the charger perfectly. This isn’t the first time it happens—all three DS4 controllers I’ve tried show the same issue when plugged into the PC. I’m sure it’s solvable since this is the fifth occurrence. The problem seems to be driver-related; disabling or reinstalling drivers didn’t help, which is probably why it’s happening again.
