A few weeks back I was playing BF Hardline and it would suddenly flicker, switching to windowed mode. At least I thought about it. When I went into the options menu to switch back to fullscreen, the game still believed it was running in fullscreen, even though it wasn’t. I checked their forum and they mentioned it’s a new issue they’re investigating but stopped replying afterward. Then I downloaded GTA 5 and started playing in fullscreen—it worked perfectly. After about five minutes the game flickered again, went windowed, and I had to switch back, but it still claimed fullscreen. I tried other games like Borderlands 2 and Battlefield 4/3, which all reported the same behavior. Anyone know what’s happening? Windowed mode doesn’t seem to be the same and might be affecting my mouse sensitivity. Please help.

Yes, ALT+ENTER typically sends a single keystroke to submit or execute an action.

Unfortunately, the person mentioned also suggested trying something, but it just switches the game to fullscreen, which turns out to be windowed mode D. This seems quite strange and confusing.
