Hello everyone, I’m facing a problem with my Windows 10 setup. The system insists my USB drive must stay connected to maintain stability. This prevents me from installing some updates. What does this mean and how can I resolve it? Thank you!

Windows is stored on your USB flash drive. When the system requires a file, it might stop working properly. This can happen if the drive isn’t connected or installed. To resolve, keep the USB drive with your computer or install Windows directly on the device.

The issue might stem from the storage setup. Since the SSD was transferred from a laptop and only booted via USB once, there could be compatibility problems with your motherboard. Check if the drive is properly recognized and try connecting it through the correct USB port or USB-C adapter. If needed, reinstall the cloned data to ensure everything loads correctly.

Well, you replicated? That means you're handling it by yourself now. Cloning doesn't fix errors well, so many files probably got damaged—this is common when copying drives with different firmware versions. Make sure to back up your data and perform a clean installation of Windows.
