You're experiencing a strange problem with Windows Media Player on Windows 11. When full-screen is activated, the player stops zooming in the video once the seek menu vanishes. Adjusting Zoom to Fill doesn't fix it. Others have reported similar issues—seek menu appears but disappears before zooming completes.

It occurs with others and can't pinpoint any similarity. Initially I assumed it was just webm files, but later discovered one without that problem. The key distinction was the presence of metadata for frame width and height in the working file. Possibly that's all. Still, I confirmed a webm without those details worked perfectly. Just Microsoft products... I tend to prefer native applications.
