He sent me his laptop to repair since it keeps restarting endlessly. It turns out the operating system is damaged and the hard drive health is only 10%. I was able to restore his personal files. I bought a new SSD from my supplier, who supplies tech repairs, and installed Windows 10 x64 ISO 20H2 without issues. After applying updates through Windows Update after restarting, it still loops back on boot. I changed the HDD but the problem persists. The motherboard looks clean with no signs of damage. I tried replacing the RAM, but that didn’t fix it either. Is there a known issue with the latest Windows version? This is my fifth time reformatting and reinstalling Windows 10, and I omitted the optional update for 20H2 just to be safe. Also, the commands in CMD don’t help.

Could you provide more details about the model or specifications you're thinking of?

I'm currently making changes to the Acer E5-576G-59AB. The Windows update is complete, and it's running smoothly after installation on an SSD.

I attempted that earlier night but it doesn't start up, only showing the Acer screen without any loading indicator, even after setting a 10-minute timer.

I first tried the media creation tool on my work laptop at the beginning of the week, and everything functioned perfectly, even after installing extra updates during Windows setup.

The issue might be with the SATA port or a component on the motherboard. The update could have caused a temporary glitch, leaving the system stuck on the loading screen for about ten minutes.

Likely a simple hardware issue with the motherboard or similar...

Consider checking the BIOS integrity by booting from a USB drive. If there are issues, verify the SATA connection.

Check your laptop's manufacturer website for BIOS updates or recovery tools. To reflash the BIOS, you'll need a bootable USB drive with the latest BIOS image and follow the on-screen instructions carefully.
