I recently received a Windows 10 Enterprise key from my school, and it functioned but didn’t activate. I’m concerned about privacy since many people might have used it. However, I need remote desktop access. At least I have Windows 10 E now—what steps should I take?

Ensure the installation used the Windows 10 Enterprise key. Launch the Run dialog, type slui.exe, and proceed with the setup steps.

Purchase the key from your institution and reach out to them, informing them it isn't valid.

The testbench is currently inactive, though it was enjoyable to try.

Search for an outdated used PC with a product key sticker for Windows 7 Pro or 8 Pro. It seems likely this device was never used to activate Windows 10, and you simply plugged in the key and it worked. I visited a junkyard, scanned several old machines, captured images of the keys, and both laptops and desktops functioned properly without any problems.
