I didn't get the bios, so I'm not sure. I just started from a CD.

Power on the PC and run a cleanup. Navigate to the BIOS settings and check the hard drives section. Verify if Barracuda is listed there, indicating a connected drive. Confirm the drive is functioning properly. Have you used it before in another build? Consider testing it on a different machine if possible.
