Windows is unable to locate the required drivers during the setup process.
I recently assembled a new computer and got it up and running. During my vacation I returned only to find problems with the motherboard configuration, so I had to reset it. After resetting the board, Windows setup stopped working and none of my troubleshooting steps resolved the issue. I've tried clearing the CMOS, reinstalling the bootloader, creating partitions, enabling Secure Boot, downloading drivers from the manufacturer's site onto a USB drive, but nothing has fixed the problem.
I reviewed the information thoroughly and still have some uncertainty. Are you referring to resetting the CMOS, clearing the system, or reinstalling Windows? Where is the current status of the setup? Which BIOS version is active? Is Windows running on the device or not?
I'm working with an ASRock B450M/AC motherboard. After resetting the CMOS, I tried reinstalling from a USB drive, but the CMOS selection screen didn't appear.
Details include: Asrock B450M AC 16GB DDR4 512GB NVMe SSD, Ryzen 5 4500 RX 5500 XT processor, Thermaltake 700W power supply.
