My username entered was DarkSorrow.
Every time I sign in to the Microsoft Account during Windows 11 installation, my username is shortened to just the folder name, such as C:\User\DarkS.
The folder should be named DarkS instead of DarkSorrow.
How can I fix this issue? My system is fresh and nothing is installed yet.

Operating as intended. Windows reduces user names to five characters. My username "ubuysa" becomes "ubuys" in Windows.

I believe it is not wise to modify the registry for something purely cosmetic. I would never take that action.
