Windows is consuming significant space on your device.
It seems to be related to Windows, especially the Chrome version of operating systems. Likely it saves backups of previous versions, which could be consuming space. I don’t remember how to stop it from doing that or delete those backups, but searching online should help locate a suitable guide.
I understand your concern... but how many unique copies would be necessary to store 150 GB across backups? Also, thanks for the tips on organizing files, but this comes after you already cleared up your disk space. Edited September 28, 2018 by brianhardy
Use a file manager such as Directory Opus to view folder sizes. Select the largest folder and examine the sizes of its contents. This likely reflects system files rather than just regular data. I haven’t calculated Windows sizes with native tools, so I’m unsure of the exact figures.
