Windows installation on boot isn't working.
Hey there! I’m just getting my old gaming PC ready for sale now. I’ve always had the chance to work with its BIOS, making small tweaks and light overclocks when I could. But over the past couple of years, gaming hasn’t been a priority, so it’s mostly just sitting idle on my desk. Still, I occasionally power it up to check everything is in good shape. Recently, I decided it’s time to upgrade and sell the current machine. I cleaned it thoroughly beforehand—it looks much better now! The issue is, when I turn it on, it takes a while to boot completely (not unusual), but there’s no BIOS menu or Windows loading screen. The first time it shows up on the screen is when Windows 10 finishes loading and asks for a password. I’ve tried forcing it into BIOS through recovery settings or an old ASUS app, but every time it restarts normally and stays on without showing anything. I’ve also checked the GPU and MBU ports, but I don’t have a compatible cable for HDMI or VGA/DVI. I’m hoping someone can help me figure out what’s going on, especially since this setup is unfamiliar to me. I’ve attached my PC specs for reference. Let me know what you think!
