I aimed to revert my operating system from Linux back to Windows because performance was poor. Installing via ISO wasn't possible since the required driver, Intel Rapid Storage, didn't install as expected. Eventually, I installed Windows 10 using a Dell recovery key I obtained but still can't get Windows 11. The media creation tool keeps requesting drivers and the installation assistant crashes when I try to proceed. Additionally, my laptop is overheating significantly after the reinstall, even though all drivers were updated. This might be related to frequent switching between live ISO files and BIOS settings. Could you assist with reinstalling Windows from an ISO? I'm certain I followed the right drivers and alternatives, yet the issue persists. Also, why does my device overheat so much now compared to before Ubuntu installation?

Did you attempt to install the Intel Rapid Storage driver using the bootable USB during the OS setup? Download the f6flpy-x64.zip file from the provided link and place it on your USB drive before proceeding.

I suspect Linux could have modified the fan curve settings, but this would need to be saved by the BIOS. You might want to consider reverting or updating your laptop's BIOS later. Alternatively, the inability for Windows 11 to install may stem from a driver problem—check your current Windows driver in the Device Manager. It could be an unknown device or related to disk drives. If you can identify it, examine the properties, go to details, and verify the device ID. You can locate drivers in the Microsoft Update Catalog here: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Home.aspx Once you have the correct driver, attempt to install it or load it onto the Windows installer.

Yes, even with the right driver, it still fails and suggests outdated or non-existent options.

I can’t take or post images directly, but I can help you capture the error yourself using your phone’s camera. Just point it at the issue and take a screenshot or video of it.

You're encountering an issue where Windows blocks access to the USB drive, only allowing reformatting. Since you've successfully installed drivers on Linux, try using a different method or tool to access the USB device.
