Hello, the issue started when my windows got corrupted and I had to reinstall. I encountered an error saying "Windows can't be installed on this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style." After getting Windows from a repair shop, I rebuilt my installation USB just in case. But the problem persisted. When I booted into the USB to test, it still showed the same error. I’m looking for a solution so I can reinstall later if needed. My motherboard uses UEFI. FIX: I’ll share this fix here in case others face the same problem. Basically, in the boot menu there were two bootable options: Sandisk and UEFI Sandisk. If your system is UEFI but you can’t install on a GPT drive, it’s likely you were booting into BIOS instead of the UEFI installation. To resolve this, in the boot menu pick UEFI Sandisk first, not BIOS priority. Make sure UEFI Sandisk is listed at the top.
