I transferred my RAID 0 drive to an external USB hard drive using Macrium Reflect. When I attempted to boot from it, I received an error stating "kernel missing or corrupt." After some research, I suspect the operating system detected a boot log issue or mismatch. It seems the drive might not be recognized properly. To resolve this, you could try inserting your Windows disk and selecting the repair option, though it appears your drive doesn’t support that feature.

Use only the system partition image, restore it on a new drive while keeping a few unpartitioned areas (about 2 GB should suffice). Connect the new drive, install Windows via the installer, and repair or fix the boot using available guides online. Alternatively, you can bypass the imaging step and proceed with your existing clone.

I'm transferring the entire drive to ensure it boots up.

You'll find that choice available when you select repair first. Then additional options will appear.

There is no way to choose an option. The message instructs to press any key to boot from the CD/DVD, and pressing a key initiates the installation process. No repair option is available.

I fixed the issue by copying the OS drive to a USB connected hard drive, then plugging it into a SATA port. The computer started normally. It seems the OS didn’t like using USB.

You attempted to boot from the USB drive? I didn't realize that detail. I assumed you only made copies using USB.
