Windows Insider Program enrollment problems / 23H2 Mandatory update release
I've been part of the Beta Channel for the Insider Program for over a year and have been waiting to be removed. Recently, I updated to Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22635.2915, which brought the OS up to version 23H2. I'm confused about why it jumped from 22H2 directly to 23H2 despite my efforts. After checking Settings > System > About, the version now shows as 23H2. I tried restoring from a point before 22H2, but that only worked temporarily. When I accessed Windows Update, it kept showing Insider Preview and pushed me back up to 23H2 without removing me. As someone who plays esports professionally and works on music, I need a stable system for optimal performance. I'm worried this change might affect my gaming experience and music projects. I'm seeking advice—what should I do? A fresh Windows installation would erase everything I've set up, including games, apps, and my music work. I just want to exit the Insider program and return to regular updates for a reliable setup.
