Windows indicated it would expire, so I bought a Windows 10 home activation code, but it didn’t work. The warning "windows will expire" appears each time I power on my PC.
How was your license acquired? If it came from a low-cost reseller, it might only work during the initial setup and using it in an existing installation could lead to it being marked as blacklisted. Are you sure the key corresponds to the same Windows version you’re currently using?
Updated to Windows *** Your earlier key came from unofficial sources or educational/professional settings, which is why it expires (must link to the original network for activation). How did you obtain the new one? Apart from the fact that you can't unlock the Pro version with Home, it’s possible you were misled.
