I own a Windows 10Pro PC running on a 500gb drive used for network storage. My sons’ Windows 10Home laptop needs access when I map the drive, but it prompts for a password—though that feature is already disabled. Why am I encountering this now?

Use the IP address of the other system for drive mapping. Did you take a screenshot of the error?
