I powered down my PC after a gaming session, attempting to restart it. It launched into Windows, but the screen was off. I’m certain the boot process worked because my BT speaker auto-connected and the case fans are managed via a Windows-controlled software. My second monitor also shows no display, even though both are linked to the GPU output. I suspect the GPU might be faulty, so I disconnected it, reset the CMOS (ensuring the BIOS switches back), and connected the monitors through the onboard HDMI port. After rebooting, the issue persisted—Windows is running but no display appears anywhere. I’ve tried several fixes: testing without USB devices, confirming the monitor and cable are functional, clearing CMOS, and checking for automatic resets. Everything seems to be operational in Windows, so what might be causing this? Could be a hardware fault, a driver problem, or something in the BIOS settings.

For a reason, after several reboots, I managed to get back on the onboard screen, so I began reconnecting the peripherals one by one while ensuring the onboard display remained active and functional. Eventually, reinstalling my graphics card restored the display to work properly. It was quite an unusual journey.
