It has four cores, but whatever. Thank you for clarifying it, I thought a virus was forcing my CPU to run at full capacity to stop the antivirus from detecting it.

All the systems I've used over the years consistently show 100% during the full Windows scan. After scanning around 70% of the files, things usually stabilize. That’s the way it works.
