Hi all,
Good day to you.
I usually turn off all the settings related to auto sleep/ lock in my desktop PC.
Ever since upgrading to Windows 11 Pro (current version 25H2), I have started noticing that after inactivity, it logs me out. Screen turns off but the CPU and other components are still running.
Clicking on a keyboard button turns the screen on, and I have to log in again. Note: this is about signing out and not windows restarting.
Have turned off most of the settings which I know about as below:
Under settings, sleep related settings are off/ set to never
Performance plan under power options is set to High performance. It's sub-settings:
Hard disk: turn off hard disk after: is set to 0
Processor power mgmt. Min and Max are set to 100.
C-State in Bios is set to Disabled
Still the issue or "functionality" persists. And I do not know what else to do.
Can someone please help with this.
Thank you

Typically, most of this can be addressed by adjusting the control panel and local security policy. Run Dialog: Press Win + R, type secpol.msc, and press Enter. Command Prompt/PowerShell: Launch it and type secpol.msc, then hit Enter. If this doesn’t resolve your problem or other configuration/security issues persist, the suggestions above should guide you to the correct solution.

Also check Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.
One or both tools might record an error code, warning, or info event just before or when you log out.
Captured records can be clicked for further information, though they may or may not be useful.
Focus on the date and time stamps.
Search for recurring patterns.
