I recently installed an SSD but accidentally set Windows on it while your other operating system was still running on the HDD. Now during startup, you have to choose between the volume of Windows and it’s frustrating. I tried disconnecting the hard drive, but that only brought the computer to BIOS and nothing else. Please help!

The initial division on Drive 1 contains the Windows 10 bootloader. The only way is to reinstall it after disconnecting it.

Prepare a bootable partition on the C drive. Reduce its size first—this may work in Disk Management based on how files are arranged. Launch Command Prompt and input bcdboot c:\windows /s c: Power down, disconnect the old drive, then restart and turn it back on. It should start up.
