Windows fails to start from the M.2 NVMe SSD.
Start by installing a boot loader regardless of the storage location. Create a 25GB partition on your SATA drive and install Windows there. This ensures you have a functional boot loader. Launch the Windows installation from that partition. Next, generate a VHDX or VHDX file on your NVMe drive and remove it. Use virtual machine software to attach the file to a VM and install Windows on it. Once setup is complete, power off the virtual machine. Open Command Prompt with admin rights, mount the VHDX/VHD file to Windows, then execute: bcdboot v:\windows. If successful, restart and select your desired boot entry—press Enter to load the NVMe drive's contents.
Sorry about the repeated post, but have you ever fixed this? I’m facing the same problem after reinstalling Windows on my M.2 NVMe drive, even though I deleted the installation media. It worked before, but once I removed the bootloader from the old drive, it never booted from the NVMe anymore.
